I definitely don't NEED coffee, but I enjoy it. And it makes me feel all business-like, in an office full of coffee drinking men :)

I avoided coffee until I graduated college but then started in grad school.
Now I can go weeks without coffee and then I'll drink four cups on a random sunday.

I drink coffee in the mornings, and then typically switch to tea in the afternoons (caffeine or not). Except on weekends. On weekends, I'll drink coffee whenever you put it in front of me :)

[delurk!] You actually know I'm a coffee drinker since we used to be coworkers and all -- but the secret to keeping your teeth from staining is to chew gum after a little bit after you finish a cup (or brush your teeth).

I learned this from a dentist. And no, I didn't follow directions, so I can't vouch for it.

That's funny, before I started drinking coffee, what i got at Starbucks was the caramel apple cider. Then I started to get white mochas because my EX got them.

Then when I started working full time everyone drank tons and tons of coffee. My Dad (who rents space from my company) would bring me a white mocha often, but I finally decided that it was too many calories and suggested he just bring me a coffee instead. So yeaahhh. I <3 it. My fiance JUST bought an espresso machine too, so we can save money. Yikes.

I started drinking coffee in high school to shock my parents. They actually really didn't care, so that plan backfired and instead I just found myself a new addiction.

Lately (by which I mean the past 4 years), I've been trying to make myself an herbal tea drinker instead, because I think that seems shmancier... but I love coffee too much.

That's generally how it starts. When I first started working for my current company five years ago, I had an earlier start to my shift than the previous job I had. I found I had to have a cup of coffee to have enough caffeine to function. The coffee my office stocked was horrible, so I quickly learned that if I bought my own coffee maker and beans, I could have much tastier coffee each morning. I still cannot function on any day without at least one cup.

I drink coffee every day!!!! Not even because I "need" it but mostly because it totally comforts me to wake up in the morning and sit with a cup. It's also fun to drink with people and makes me feel all cozy. I drink it black!

Also, I think coffee is probably much better to drink than hot chocolate (imho). Yes, there's caffeine in it, but there's not a ton of sugar and empty calories. So, just choose your evil and enjoy it!

It's SUCH a slippery slope! Just 2 years ago I NEVER drank coffee. Now I have resolved to quit it! How did that happen? I try to now drink it just a 1-2 times a week, and truly enjoy it. We are getting old....that must be the reason for it right?
